<br />SWC:sh <br /> <br />/6/87 <br /> <br />(#19) <br /> <br />MAY 1 8 1987 <br /> <br />OJ{fGINAL" <br />OF <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />No.10506 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />QUITCLAIM DEED (PORTION OF SUMMIT WAY - GARY HIRSCH) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to that certain subdivision map entitled <br /> <br />"Highlands of Emerald Lake, Subdivision 6", recorded in Volume 15 <br /> <br />of Maps at Page 64, San Mateo County Records, the hereinafter <br /> <br />described property, known as Summit Way, was offered for <br /> <br />dedication to the County of San Mateo, but specifically rejected <br /> <br />by the Board of Supervisors of said County; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City owns real property <br /> <br />abutting said Summit Way, but does not require said dedicated but <br /> <br />unaccepted, road for access to its property; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council does not now desire, nor intend in the <br /> <br />future, to use said Summit Way for access to, or ingress from <br /> <br />said City-owned property and desires to quitclaim its abutter's <br /> <br />interest in said road to Gary Hirsch, as owner of real property <br /> <br />likewise abutting a portion of said Summit Way in the vicinity of <br /> <br />the City's property; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain quitclaim deed, in substantially the form set <br /> <br />forth in Exhibit "I", attached hereto and incorporated herein by <br /> <br />reference, which deed quitclaims all abutter's rights of the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City in said Summit Way, to Gary Hirsch is hereby <br /> <br />approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and <br /> <br />directed to execute, and attest thereto, respectively, said deed. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />1 U ~) .~"\.' 6, <br />"-" ",r ." <br />
