<br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />-; 0512 <br /> <br />( # 1 9 JINi 1 <br />1981 <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />SWC:sr 5/27/87 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />SECOND AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION AND <br />JOINT USE OF RECREATIONAL FACILITIES AT HOOVER SCHOOL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on January 13, 1982, the City of Redwood City and <br /> <br />the Redwood City School District entered into an agreement <br /> <br />entitled <br /> <br />"Agreement <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />Construction <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Joint <br /> <br />Use <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Recreational Facilities at Hoover School" ("Master Lease"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City and the School District desire to make a <br /> <br />portion of the District property, which is the subject of the <br /> <br />Master Lease, available to the Herbert Hoover Boys and Girls Club <br /> <br />for construction of a club house thereon, and to incorporate <br /> <br />additional property into the terms of the Master Lease for the <br /> <br />use by said club as a parking area; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to amend the <br /> <br />Master Lease for the purpose of enabling the City to enter into a <br /> <br />sublease agreement with the Herbert Hoover Boys and Girls Club; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Second Amendment to <br /> <br />Agreement for Construction and Joint Use of Recreational <br /> <br />Facilities at Hoover School", a copy of which amendment to <br /> <br />agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, and to <br /> <br />which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, <br /> <br />is hereby approved; and the City Manager is hereby authorized to <br /> <br />execute said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />- L; ~11 I}) <br />~'"' '-'y) ~ 11 AI <br />
