<br />DES:sh 6/3/87 (#19) <br />O;,IGI NAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 1 0 52 6 <br /> <br />JUN 8 1987 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF PNEUMATIC <br />TIRED INDUSTRIAL FORKLIFT: AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />PURCHASE DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the purchase <br /> <br />Pneumatic Tired Industrial Forklift for use by the Redwood City <br /> <br />General Services Department: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, six (6) bids were <br /> <br />received: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Perin Company of Burlingame, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to accept the bid of Perin Company: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />ASjFOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of Perin Company, Burlingame, California, for <br /> <br />Pneumatic Tired Industrial Forklift at a cost of $20,679.11 <br /> <br />computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated May 20, <br /> <br />1987, for the sale of Pneumatic Tired Industrial Forklift is <br /> <br />hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to <br /> <br />be the lowest responsible bidder for said Pneumatic Tired <br /> <br />Industrial Forklift. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the purchase of said Pneumatic Tired Industrial Forklift in <br /> <br />accordance with the abovementioned bid proposal, a copy of which <br /> <br />proposal is presently on file in the office of the City Clerk, to <br /> <br />10526 <br />
