RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 10563 co py RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF INITIATIVE PETITION PROPOSING CERTAIN AMENDMENT TO THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY; ACCEPTING CERTIFICATION OF THE CITY CLERK AS TO THE SUFFICIENCY OF SAID PETITION FOR CONSIDERATION BY THIS COUNCIL; ORDERING SUBMISSION THEREOF TO THE ELECTORS OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AT A SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HEREIN CALLED FOR SUCH PURPOSE ON NOVEMBER 3, 1987; AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO TO CONSOLIDATE SAID ELECTION WITH THE STATEWIDE GENERAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON SAID DATE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The Council of Redwood City does hereby acknowledge receipt of a petition proposing the amendment hereinafter set forth to the Charter of the City of Redwood City

<br />DPC::djk 7/27/87 <br /> <br />(#20) <br /> <br />purpose of listing said measure on the ballots and on the voting <br /> <br />machines to be used at the Special Municipal Election to be held <br />on said measure in the City of Redwood City on November 3, 1987. <br />Upon such redesignation Or change all references to said measure <br />shall be made in accordance with said redesignation Or changed <br />designation. <br />SECTION 10. The Board of Supervisors of the County of San <br />Mateo is hereby requested, pursuant to the provisions of <br />Elections Code Section 23302, to consolidate the Special <br />Municipal Election hereinabove called with the Statewide General <br />Election to be held on November 3, 1987. The form of the <br />question to be voted upon at the Special Municipal Election is <br />that set forth in Section 5 hereinabove.
