<br />SWC : d j k 7 / 2 7 / 8 7 ( # 3 4 ) <br /> <br />EXHIBIT nAn <br /> <br />SERVICE AGREEMENT FOR THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION CONSOLIDATED WITH NOVEMBER 1987 <br />GENERAL ELECTION <br /> <br />The County Clerk will perform all legal actions and services <br />for the conduct of the election except the following: <br /> <br />SPECIFIED ELECTION ACTIONS OR SERVICES TO BE PERFORMED <br />BY CITY CLERK <br /> <br />1. Request the Board of Supervisors to allow the County <br />Clerk to perform specified election services in <br />connection with the November General Election. <br />Deadline to request services of County Clerk is 88 days <br />prior to the election or August 7, 1987. If a <br />measure(s) is to be voted on, exact wording of <br />measure (s) must be filed by the 88th day prior to <br />election. <br /> <br />2. Legal Publications: <br /> <br />All legal publications are the responsibility of the <br />Ci ty Clerk including but not limited to: Notice of <br />Election, Notice to File Arguments for or Against, etc. <br /> <br />NOTE: <br /> <br />County Clerk will publish Election Officer <br />and Polling Place Notice one time in <br />adjudicated newspaper. <br /> <br />3. Nomination Papers/Arguments: <br /> <br />Ci ty Clerk is to issue, file and check all Argument <br />Documents. <br /> <br />4. City Clerk is to prepare and deliver to the County <br />Clerk the ballot pamphlet containing, if applicable, <br />Ballot Measure (s), Analysis of Measure (s), Arguments <br />For or Against, and Rebuttals thereto. Due date of <br />this material at the Office of the County Clerk, 40 <br />Tower Road, San Mateo is September 23, 1987. <br /> <br />TERMS AND CONSIDERATION <br /> <br />This schedule shall be in effect for the performance of all <br />services incident to the preparation and conduct of the City of <br />Redwood City Special Municipal Election consolidated with the <br />November General Election to be held November 3, 1987, except <br />services listed as required by City Clerk. <br />
