<br />DAS:sp 7/16/87 (#20) JUL 27 1987 <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10569 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BIDS <br />REPLACEMENTS AND REPAIRS; <br />AGREEMENTS FOR SAID WORK; <br />SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />FOR 1986-87/1987-88 ROOF <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AND DIRECTING RETURN OF <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10547, adopted by the <br /> <br />City Council of the City of Redwood City on June 22, 1987, the <br /> <br />City Clerk called for bids for 1986-87/1987-88 Roof Replacements <br /> <br />and Repairs; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Fidelity Roof Company, Oakland, California, Blues <br /> <br />Roof Company, San Jose, California, <br /> <br />and Bryant Organization, <br /> <br />Inc., Oakland, California are the lowest responsible bidders and <br /> <br />it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said bids <br /> <br />to Fidelity Roof Company, Blues Roof Company, and Bryant <br /> <br />Organization, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bids of Fidelity Roof Company, Blues Roof Company <br /> <br />and Bryant Organization, Inc. in the sums of Three Hundred <br /> <br />Fourteen Thousand Four Hundred Eighty-six and No/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($314,486.00), One Hundred Forty-four Thousand One Hundred <br /> <br />Forty-four and No/100 Dollars ($144,144.00), and Seventy-six <br /> <br />Thousand <br /> <br />Three <br /> <br />Hundred <br /> <br />Ninety-three <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />No/lOa <br /> <br />Dollars <br /> <br />($76,393.00) respectively, computed in accordance with bidders' <br /> <br />10569 <br />
