<br />SWC:djk 8/6/87 (#21) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />NO.I0580 <br /> <br />OHIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BIDS FOR RED MORTON COMMUNITY AUG 10 1987 <br />CENTER TENNIS COURT IMPROVEMENTS; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF <br />SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10556, adopted by the <br /> <br />City Council of the City of Redwood City on July 6, 1987, the <br /> <br />City Clerk called for bids for the reconstruction of Red Morton <br /> <br />Community Center Tennis Courts; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Cal Clay Corporation, San Jose, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said bid to Cal Clay Corporation; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Cal Clay Corporation in the sum of One <br /> <br />Hundred Nineteen Thousand Two Hundred Seventy-nine and 50/100 <br /> <br />Dollars ($119,279.50), computed in accordance with the Base Bid <br /> <br />and Additive Alternate #2 Bid of bidder's proposal dated August <br /> <br />4, 1987, is hereby found and declared to be the lowest bid for <br /> <br />said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement for Red Morton Community <br /> <br />Center - Tennis Court Improvements" by and between the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City and Cal Clay Corporation, for the performance of <br /> <br />110580 <br />
