<br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />-- ------------------------- <br /> <br />(7-15-87) AUG 10 7987 <br />10596 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH HERBERT HOOVER BOY'S & GIRL'S CLUB, INC. <br /> <br />WHEREAS. Herbert Hoover Boy's & Girl's Club, Inc. has been <br /> <br />established for the principal purpose of providing a recreational <br /> <br />and educational program for youth in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Herbert Hoover Boy's & Girl's Club has requested <br /> <br />financial assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during <br /> <br />the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1987 and ending June 30, 1988; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said requests and <br /> <br />desires to pay to Herbert Boy!s & Girl's Club, Inc. the sum of FIVE <br /> <br />THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED AND 00/100 Dollars ($5,300.00). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br /> <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and the Herbert Hoover Boy's <br /> <br />and Girl's Club, Inc. and it is the intention and desire of this Council <br /> <br />to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1 0 596 <br />
