<br />(7/15/87) <br /> <br />-.j~l <br />~'UG l." <br />OR\G\~~l <br /> <br />------------.------.---- ----- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />1 0 597 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH KAINOS HOME AND TRAINING CENTER <br /> <br />WHEREAS Kainos Home and Training Center has been established <br /> <br />for the principal purpose of providing homes and vocational training <br /> <br />for mentally retarded adults in Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Kainos Home and Training Center of Redwood City has <br /> <br />requested financial assistance for use by it in conducting its <br /> <br />activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1987 and ending <br /> <br />June 30 1988; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. the City of Redwood City has reviewed said requests and <br /> <br />desires to pay to the Kainos Home and Training Center of Redwood City <br /> <br />the sum of FOUR THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED FIFTY AND NO/100 DOLLARS <br /> <br />($4.950 00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br /> <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and the Kainos Home and <br /> <br />Training Center of Redwood City, and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1 0 597 <br />
