<br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />(7-15-87) <br /> <br />AUG 10 1987 <br /> <br />------------------------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />No.I0603 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH SERVICE LEAGUE OF SAN MATEO COUNTY <br /> <br />WHEREAS. Serv~ce League of San Mateo County has been established <br /> <br />for the principal purpose of providing short term assistance to persons <br /> <br />recently released from correctional systems and their families in the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS Service League of San Mateo County has requested <br /> <br />financial assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during <br /> <br />the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1987 and ending June 30, 1988; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. the City of Redwood City has reviewed said requests and <br /> <br />desires to pay to Service League of San Mateo County the sum of <br /> <br />FIVE THOUSAND AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($5,000.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br /> <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and Service League of San <br /> <br />Mateo County, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW. THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />10603 <br />
