<br />SWC:JAT:jn 9/25/87 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10642 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />SEP 2 8 1987 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION GRANTING TENTATIVE APPROVAL OF CANCELLATION <br />OF WILLIAMSON ACT CONTRACT, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS; <br />AND MAKING APPROPRIATE FINDINGS THEREOF <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 51282, and in <br /> <br />accordance with the requirements set forth thereby, a petition <br /> <br />for cancellation of two (2) Williamson Act contracts for land <br /> <br />located within the Horgan Ranch area of Redwood City, was filed <br /> <br />with the City on September 15, 1987 by the Law Offices of WILHELM, <br /> <br />THOMPSON, WENTHOLT & GIBBS by James A. Thompson, Esquire on behalf <br /> <br />of the following applicants: <br /> <br />NAME OF APPLICANTS: <br /> <br />1. Petitioners Hideoyoshi Kashima, Yaeko Kashima, and <br />Takaaki Peter Kashima, owners of land under contract <br />known as APN 059-240-820. <br /> <br />2. Petitioners Geo. M. Tsukushi, George Matsutaro Tsukushi, <br />Shizuko Tsukushi, and Shizuko Kawakami Tsukushi, owners <br />of land under contract known as APN 059-240-(860 and <br />880) . <br /> <br />All of the above listed parcels are more particularly <br /> <br />described on "Exhibit A" attached hereto and incorporated herein <br /> <br />by reference; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on September 14, 1987, the City Council approved <br /> <br />Resolution No. 10625, attached hereto as "Exhibit B" and <br /> <br />incorporated herein by reference, ordering the territory <br /> <br />designated as "Annexation of the Lands of Horgan Ranch to the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City" annexed to the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Sections 51235 and <br /> <br />51243, Redwood City is the proper governmental agency to determine <br /> <br />cancellation of the aforementioned Williamson Act contracts; and <br /> <br />10642 <br />
