<br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />3:nt 9/23/87 (#20) <br />SEP 2 8 1987 <br />No.10 645 ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF READER <br />TABLES AND CHAIRS FOR NEW MAIN LIBRARY; AND AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager called for bids for the purchase <br /> <br />of reader tables and chairs for new Main Library; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, seven (7) bids were received <br /> <br />for the purchase of said furnishings; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Interna Designs, Chicago, Illinois, is the lowest <br /> <br />responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br />Council to award said bid to Interna Designs; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Interna Designs, in the sum of One Hundred <br /> <br />Eighty-seven Thousand Four Hundred Eighteen and 22/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($187,418.22), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal <br /> <br />dated September 4, 1987, for the sale of reader tables and chairs <br /> <br />for new Main Library is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby <br /> <br />found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said <br /> <br />furnishings. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the purchase of said furnishings in accordance with the <br /> <br />abovementioned bid proposal, a copy of which proposal is <br />presently on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> <br />reference is hereby made for the full particulars concerning the <br /> <br />terms and conditions thereof. <br /> <br />1 0 645 <br />
