<br />DAS:nt 9/24/87 (#20) <br /> <br />ORlG\NAl <br />SEP 2 8 1987 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />1 0 646 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) <br />TELESCOPIC AERIAL LIFT; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />PURCHASE DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the purchase <br /> <br />of one (1) telescopic aerial lift; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, four (4) bids were <br /> <br />received; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, General Cable Company, Westminster, Colorado, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to accept the bid of said company; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The bid of General Cable Company, <br /> <br />Westminster, <br /> <br />Colorado, for. the sale of one (1) telescopic aerial lift at a <br /> <br />total bid price of Thirty-three Thousand Four Hundred Thirty-five <br /> <br />and 68/100 Dollars ($33,435.68) computed in accordance with said <br /> <br />bidder's proposal dated September 14, 1987, is hereby accepted; <br /> <br />said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br /> <br />responsible bidder for said telescopic aerial lift; and all other <br /> <br />bids are hereby rejected. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the purchase of said exercise units in accordance with the <br /> <br />abovementioned bid proposal, a copy of which proposal is <br /> <br />presently on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> <br />1 0 646 <br />
