<br />3:nt 9/25/87 (#20) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10650 <br /> <br />OR\G\N~L <br />SEP 2 8 1987 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE NON-ACCESS <br />RESTRICTION OVER A PORTION OF A PUBLIC STREET (REDWOOD <br />SHORES PARKWAY) IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART 3 OF DIVISION <br />9, STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF <br />CALIFORNIA; SETTING TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING ALL <br />PERSONS INTERESTED IN OR OBJECTING TO THE PROPOSED <br />VACATION; AND ORDERING POSTING OF NOTICE OF SUCH <br />PROPOSED VACATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a non access restriction over a portion of a public <br /> <br />street (Redwood Shores Parkway) in the City of Redwood City, <br /> <br />heretofore relinquished and dedicated to the City over such <br /> <br />public street, is no longer needed to restrict access across such <br /> <br />street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City intends to <br /> <br />vacate said non access restriction over a portion of Redwood <br /> <br />Shores Parkway pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 <br /> <br />(commencing with Section 8300) of the Streets and Highways Code; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The City Council hereby declares its intention to vacate <br /> <br />a non access restriction over a portion of Redwood Shores Parkway <br /> <br />as such restriction is hereinafter described, and elects to <br /> <br />proceed with such vacation pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 <br /> <br />of Division 9 (commencing with Section 8300) of the Streets and <br /> <br />Highways Code. <br /> <br />2. The non access restriction over a portion of Redwood <br /> <br />Shores Parkway to be vacated was established by and designated on <br /> <br />that certain map entitled "Sandpiper Lagoon Unit No. I" as shown <br /> <br />10 650 <br />
