<br />DA nt <br />DAS:nt <br /> <br />10/08/87 (#20) <br />10/12/87R <br /> <br />OCT 1 2 1987 <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />1 0 655 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF FOUR (4) <br />PICK-UP TRUCKS; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE <br />DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the purchase <br /> <br />of four (4) pick-up trucks; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, three (3) bids were <br /> <br />received; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mission Valley Ford, <br /> <br />Santa Clara, California is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to accept the bid of said company; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Mission Valley Ford, Santa Clara, California <br /> <br />for the sale of four (4) pick-up trucks at a total bid price of <br /> <br />Sixty Thousand Two Hundred Fifty-eight and 76/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($60,258.76) computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal <br /> <br />dated September 22, 1987, is hereby accepted; said bidder is <br />hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for <br /> <br />said pick-up trucks; and all other bids are hereby rejected. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the purchase of said pick-up trucks in accordance with the <br /> <br />abovementioned bid proposal, a copy of which proposal is <br /> <br />presently on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> <br />reference is hereby made for the full particulars concerning the <br /> <br />terms and conditions thereof. <br /> <br />10 655 <br />
