<br />S ;nt 10/7/87 (#20) <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />OCT 1 2 1987 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 1 0662 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING <br />AGREEMENT WITH HUMAN <br />SHARED HOUSING PROGRAM <br /> <br />AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />INVESTMENT PROJECTS, INC. FOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Human Investment Projects, Inc. is presently <br /> <br />engaged in the operation of a Shared Housing Program and desires <br /> <br />to conduct a shared housing program for residents of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Human Investment Projects, Inc. has requested <br /> <br />financial assistance in order to conduct such a program for <br /> <br />residents of the City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, <br /> <br />1987, and ending June 30, 1988; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request <br /> <br />and desires to allocate to Human Investment proj ects, Inc. the <br /> <br />sum of Thirty-five Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($35,000.00) from <br /> <br />its Community Development Block Grant funds; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for <br /> <br />approval an agreement between the City of Redwood City and Human <br /> <br />Investment Projects, Inc., and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 10/07/87), by and between <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City and Human Investment Projects, Inc., a <br /> <br />copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City <br /> <br />Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full <br /> <br />particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is <br /> <br />JI 0662 <br />
