<br />SW\ 1 t 11/12/87 (# 22) <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10684 <br /> <br />ORIGIN:~l <br />NOV 1 6 1987 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR AREA "A" STORM DRAIN <br />REPAIRS; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID <br />WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10640, adopted by the <br /> <br />City Council of the City of Redwood City September 21, 1987, the <br /> <br />City Clerk called for bids for Area "A" Storm Drain Repairs; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Dalton Construction Company, Hayward, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to award said bid to Dalton Construction <br /> <br />Company. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Dalton Construction Company in the sum of <br /> <br />Ninety-six Thousand One Hundred Fifty and No/I00 Dollars <br /> <br />($96,150.00), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal for <br /> <br />Bid Items No.1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 10 dated October 13, 1987, is <br /> <br />hereby found and declared to be the lowest bid for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement for Area II A" Storm Drain <br /> <br />Repairs" by and between the City of Redwood City and Dalton <br /> <br />Construction Company for the performance of said work in <br /> <br />accordance with the abovementioned bid proposal, a copy of which <br /> <br />agreement is presently on file in the office of the City Clerk to <br /> <br />10684 <br />
