SUPPLEMENT NO. 12 UNDER MASTER AGREEMENT <br />FOR LOCAL AGENCY FEDERAL-AID FOR URBAN SYSTEM <br />PROJECTS FOR FUNDING OF THE REPLACEMENT OF THE <br />VETERANS BOULEVARD/ REDWOOD CREEK BRIDGE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City entered into a Master <br /> <br />Agreement for Federal-Aid Program on November 3, 1977 <br /> <br />pursuant to the Federal-Aid For Urban System Projects with <br /> <br />the State of California; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council seeks in accordance with Paragraph <br /> <br />2 of Article II of the aforementioned agreement funding for <br /> <br />replacement of the Veterans Boulevard/Redwood Creek Bridge; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council seeks to increase traffic safety <br /> <br />on the Main Street Bridge over Redwood Creek; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Execution of Program Supplement No. 12 under <br /> <br />Master Agreement 04-5029 is hereby authorized in order to <br /> <br />secure the necessary funds for replacement of the Veterans <br /> <br />Boulevard/Redwood Creek Bridge. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed <br /> <br />to take all necessary or appropriate action to execute <br /> <br />Program Supplement No. 12 under the Master Agreement for <br /> <br />Federal-Aid For Urban System Projects dated November 3, <br /> <br />1977. <br /> <br />1 0695 <br />
