SUPPLEMENT NO. 11 UNDER MASTER AGREEMENT <br />FOR LOCAL AGENCY FEDERAL-AID FOR URBAN SYSTEM <br />INSTALLATION OF RAILROAD CROSSING PROTECTION <br />DEVICES AT SEAPORT COURT AND SEAPORT BOULEVARD <br />INTERSECTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City entered into a Master <br /> <br />Agreement for Federal-Aid Program on November 3, 1977 <br /> <br />pursuant to the Federal-Aid For Urban System Projects with <br /> <br />the State of California; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council seeks in accordance with Paragraph <br /> <br />2 of Article II of the aforementioned agreement funding for <br /> <br />installation of railroad crossing protection devices at <br /> <br />Seaport Court near the intersection of Seaport Boulevard; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council seeks to increase traffic safety <br /> <br />at the Seaport Court/Seaport Boulevard intersection; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Execution of Program Supplement No. 11 under <br /> <br />Master Agreement 04-5029 is hereby authorized in order to <br /> <br />secure the necessary funds for installation of railroad <br /> <br />crossing protection devices at Seaport Court near the <br /> <br />intersection of Seaport Boulevard. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed <br /> <br />to take all necessary or appropriate action to execute <br /> <br />Program Supplement No. 11 under the Master Agreement for <br /> <br />10696 <br />
