<br />SV, nt <br />SWC:nt <br /> <br />12/16/87 (#22) <br />12/21/87R <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />1 0 706 <br /> <br />OE_C 2 1 1987 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR <br />SYCAMORE TREES FOR 1987 - 88 ; <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; <br />SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />DORMANT SPRAYING OF CITY <br />AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />AND DIRECTING RETURN OF <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10674, adopted November <br /> <br />2, 1987, the City Clerk called for bids for dormant spraying of <br /> <br />City Sycamore trees for 1987-88; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Noonan's Tree Care Inc., Redwood City, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to award said bid to Noonan's Tree Care <br /> <br />Inc. ; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Noonan's Tree Care Inc. in the sum of Nine <br /> <br />and 75/100 Dollars ($9.75) per tree for a total not to exceed <br /> <br />Fourteen Thousand Seventy-nine and No/100 Dollars ($14,079.00), <br /> <br />computed in accordance with bidder's proposal for Sycamore tree <br /> <br />spraying for 1987-88, is hereby found and declared to be the <br /> <br />lowest bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement <br /> <br />Spraying of Sycamore <br /> <br />Trees" by and between the City of Redwood City and Noonan's Tree <br /> <br />Care Inc. for the performance of said work in accordance with the <br /> <br />1 0 706 <br />
