<br />S~ nt <br />SWC:nt <br /> <br />12/16/87 (#22) <br />12/21/87R <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />1 0 707 <br /> <br />DEe 2 1 1987 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR DORMANT SPRAYING OF CITY ORIGINAL <br />MODESTO ASH TREES FOR 1987 - 88; AND AUTHORI ZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10675, adopted November <br /> <br />2, 1987, the City Clerk called for bids for dormant spraying of <br /> <br />City Modest~.Ash trees for 1987-88; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, McClenahan Pest Control, Inc., Portola Valley, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to <br /> <br />McClenahan Pest Control, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of McClenahan Pest Control, Inc. in the sum of <br /> <br />Ten and No/100 Dollars ($10.00) per tree for a total not to <br /> <br />exceed Fifteen Thousand One Hundred Sixty and No/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($15,160.00), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal for <br /> <br />dormant spraying of City Modesto Ash trees for 1987-88, is hereby <br /> <br />found and declared to be the lowest bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement - Spraying of Modesto Ash <br /> <br />Trees" by and between the City of Redwood City and McClenahan <br /> <br />Pest Control, Inc. for the performance of said work in accordance <br /> <br />with the abovementioned bid proposal a copy of which agreement is <br /> <br />1 0 707 <br />
