<br />I ;:djk 12/17/87 (#21) <br /> <br />1 0 708 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />DEe 2 1 1987 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) <br />CHIPPER TRUCK; AND AUTHORI ZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE <br />DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the purchase <br /> <br />of one (1) chipper truck; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, three (3) bids were <br /> <br />received; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mission Valley Ford, San Jose, California is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to accept the bid of said company; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Mission Valley Ford, San Jose, California <br /> <br />for the sale of one (1) chipper truck at a total bid price of <br /> <br />Forty-three Thousand Four Hundred Sixty-two and 33/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($43,462.33) computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal <br /> <br />dated December 7, 1987, is hereby accepted; said bidder is hereby <br /> <br />found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said <br /> <br />truck; and the other bids are hereby rejected. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the purchase of said truck in accordance with the abovementioned <br /> <br />bid proposal, a copy of which proposal is presently on file in <br /> <br />the office of the City Clerk, to which reference is hereby made <br /> <br />for the full particulars concerning the terms and conditions <br /> <br />thereof. <br /> <br />10708 <br />
