<br />SWC:djk 3/14/88 (#21) <br />MAR ? 1 1988 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />1 0738 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE; <br />AND AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO ISSUE THREE (3) <br />ADDITIONAL TAXICAB PERMITS PURSUANT THERETO, SUBJECT TO <br />CERTAIN CONDITIONS (CURTIS L. BUNCH - MERIT TAXI & <br />LIMOUSINE SERVICE) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10622, adopted September <br />14, 1987, the City Council granted a Certificate of Public <br /> <br />Convenience to Curtis L. Bunch, dba Merit Taxi & Limousine <br /> <br />Service, a subsidiary of San Mateo Service Corporation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said Certificate of Public Convenience, <br /> <br />this Council authorized the City Clerk to issue to the aforesaid <br /> <br />Curtis L. Bunch, three (3) permits for taxicab operations in the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 33 of the Code of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City, this Council after duly noticed public hearing, and <br /> <br />upon consideration of the aforesaid application, and upon public <br /> <br />testimony having been presented therefor, finds that the public <br /> <br />convenience and necessity will be served by amending the <br /> <br />aforesaid Certificate of Public Convenience to permit the <br /> <br />permittee to operate an additional three (3) taxicabs in the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Upon consideration of the application of Curtis L. <br /> <br />Bunch for an amendment to the Certificate of Public Convenience <br /> <br />heretofore granted, this Council hereby finds that the public <br /> <br />convenience and necessity require additional taxicab service in <br /> <br />10738 <br />
