<br />SWC:~ik 03/18/88 <br /> <br />(#21) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed initiative would modernize the formula <br /> <br />to more accurately reflect California's economic growth and <br /> <br /> <br />changing needs; and <br />WHEREAS, it is estimated that the City of Redwood City will <br />reach its spending limitation by the year 1992 and will thus be <br />restricted in its spending and forced to cut back the current <br />level of services; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />This Council does hereby fully support and endorse the <br />"Government Spending Limitation and Accountability Act" which <br />will appear on the June, 1988 ballot. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />2 <br />
