<br />SMC:djk 03/24/88 (#21) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N 0.10748 <br /> <br />MAR 2 8 1900 <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />REVOCABLE ENCROACHMENT PERMIT TO ALLOW CONSTRUCTION AND <br />MAINTENANCE OF STORM DRAIN IMPROVEMENTS ON CERTAIN CITY <br />OWNED REAL PROPERTY (SHANNON WAY PLAYGROUND) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, R.S. Ltd., Los Angeles, California, developer of <br /> <br />the Manors Condominiums Subdivision, has requested permission to <br /> <br />construct and maintain storm drain improvements on a portion of <br /> <br />the future Shannon Way Playground, a portion of Lot 3, Sandpiper <br /> <br />Subdivision Unit No.2, owned by the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />grant a revocable encroachment permit permitting such use, <br /> <br />subject to certain specified terms and conditions; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a <br /> <br />revocable encroachment permit to R.S. Ltd. to construct an <br /> <br />maintain storm drain improvements on a portion of the future <br /> <br />Shannon Way Playground located at Davit Lane and Shannon Way, <br /> <br />which permit shall not be effective until such time as R.S. Ltd. <br /> <br />executes an acceptance of its terms and conditions. <br /> <br />2. The permit herein granted shall be in the form of that <br /> <br />certain permit entitled "Grant of Revocable Permit - Storm Drain <br /> <br />Improvements - Shannon Way Playground" (form dated 03/24/88), <br /> <br />which form is attached hereto as "Exhibit A" and incorporated <br /> <br />herein by reference, including the description of that property <br /> <br />subject to said permit, which is set forth in "Exhibit A" of said <br /> <br />permit. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />10748 <br />
