<br />DAS.bjl 3/18/88 (#22) <br /> <br />MAR 2 8 1988 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10750 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT'S PARTICIPATION IN <br />A COMMERCIAL ENFORCEMENT TRAINING PROGRAM SPONSORED <br />AND ADMINISTERED BY THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, <br />DEPARTMENT OF CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY PATROL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Redwood City Police Department wishes to <br /> <br />participate in a commercial enforcement training program, which <br /> <br />program is sponsored and administered by the State of California, <br /> <br />Department of California Highway Patrol ("CHP"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the CHP requires participants of said commercial <br /> <br />enforcement training program to enter into that certain agreement <br /> <br />entitled "Dept. of California Highway Patrol Training Agreement" <br /> <br />(form date #2052-87/88) with the CHP; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Dept. <br /> <br />of California <br /> <br />Training Agreement" (form date #2052-87/88) by and between the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City and the State of California, Department of <br /> <br />California Highway Patrol, a copy of which agreement is on file <br /> <br />in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is <br /> <br />hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved; <br /> <br />and the police Chief is hereby authorized to execute said <br /> <br />agreement for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />t'l50 <br />
