<br />DAS-Qjl 3/23/88 (#22) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N Q.11l751 ~ <br /> <br />MAR 2 8 1988 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) <br />PARKING LOT SWEEPER; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />PURCHASE DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the purchase <br /> <br />of one (1) parking lot sweeper; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, one (1) bid was <br /> <br />received; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, G.C.S., Inc., West Sacramento, California is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to accept the bid of said company; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of G. C. S., Inc., West Sacramento, California <br /> <br />for the sale of one (1) parking lot sweeper at a total bid price <br /> <br />of Thirty-eight Thousand Three Hundred Twenty-eight and 29/100 <br /> <br />Dollars ($38,328.29) computed in accordance with said bidder's <br /> <br />proposal dated March 11, 1988, is hereby accepted; said bidder is <br /> <br />hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for <br /> <br />said sweeper. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />purchase <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />sweeper <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />accordance <br /> <br />with <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />abovementioned bid proposal, a copy of which proposal is <br /> <br />presently on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> <br />reference is hereby made for the full particulars concerning the <br /> <br />terms and conditions thereof. <br /> <br />10751 <br />
