<br />SWC:r;l 04/26/88 <br /> <br />(#19) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the requirements of Section 104(a) of <br /> <br />the Act, the City has followed its Citizen Participation Plan as <br /> <br /> <br />part of the process for determining how the grant funds herein <br /> <br /> <br />referenced will be used; and <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve the aforementioned <br /> <br /> <br />application for a Community Development Block Grant and to <br /> <br />authorize the execution of all documents pertaining thereto, <br /> <br /> <br />including all understandings and assurances connected therewith; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />1. That certain application prepared for submission to the <br /> <br /> <br />United States Department of Housing and Urban Development for a <br /> <br />Communi ty Development Block Grant pursuant to Title I of the <br /> <br />Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, a copy of which <br /> <br /> <br />application is on file in the office of the Community Development <br /> <br />Department of the City of Redwood City, to which copy reference <br /> <br />is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved. <br /> <br />2. This Council does hereby certify that the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City has followed its adopted Citizen Participation Plan <br /> <br /> <br />as required by Section 104(a) of the Act. <br /> <br />3. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute and <br /> <br />file the aforesaid application, and all documents, including all <br /> <br /> <br />understandings and assurances, necessary or appropriate in <br /> <br />connection therewith, and to provide such additional information <br /> <br /> <br />as may be required for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />2 <br />
