<br />SWC:bjl 5/13/88 (#37) <br />SWC : r 1 5/19/8 8R <br /> <br />EXHIBIT "J" <br />PAGE 1 OF 2 <br /> <br />SECOND ADDENDUM TO AGREEMENT <br />SHOREWAY ROAD MODIFICATION <br /> <br />day of <br /> <br />, 1988, <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT made this <br /> <br />by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal corporation <br /> <br />of the State of California ("Redwood City"), and the CITY OF <br /> <br />BELMONT, a municipal corporation of the State of California <br /> <br />(" Belmont") ; <br /> <br />WIT N E SSE T H : <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Redwood City and Belmont entered into an agreement <br /> <br />dated August 28, 1968 (the "Agreement") as amended by agreement <br /> <br />dated September 26, 1985 ("The First Amendment"), providing, <br /> <br />among other matters, for mutual rights and responsibilities with <br /> <br />respect to access to those roads designated as Frontage Road "A" <br /> <br />and Frontage Road "B" on Exhibit "A" of the Agreement, which <br /> <br />roads are located in the vicinity of the Ralston Avenue - u. S. <br /> <br />Highway 101 Interchange, and are partially within the corporate <br /> <br />limits of both Redwood City and Belmont; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Agreement provides that Redwood City and <br /> <br />Belmont shall meet and confer prior to any realignment of, or the <br /> <br />construction of any street, road, highway, bridge, overpass or <br /> <br />other similar public way which is or may be designed to intersect <br /> <br />wi th or cross that certain boundary line designated "B Area <br /> <br />Boundary" shown upon Exhibit "A" of the Agreement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the parties have met and conferred and have <br /> <br />mutually consented to the realignment of Frontage Road "B", now <br /> <br />known as Shoreway Road, and an extension of Centrum Plaza Drive <br /> <br />from Shoreway Road to Marine Parkway, which would intersect and <br /> <br />cross said "B Area Boundary" line. <br />
