The Council of the City of Redwood City hereby
recognizes the importance of prevailing wage laws, reaffirms its
unwavering commitment to uphold prevailing wage requirements on
City public works projects; and declares its desire that these
laws be continued without change.

2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
transmit a copy of this resolution to the Governor of the State
of California, the Director of the Department of Industrial
Relations, and appropriate members of the State Legislature.

2
