<br />AUG 2 2 1988 <br />ORIGINAL <br />(7-15-88) <br /> <br />R E SOL UTI 0 N N o. 1 0 870 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH COMMUNITY EDUCATION CENTER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Community Education Center has been established for <br /> <br />the principal purpose of providing a bilingual preschool program for <br /> <br />children and their parents in the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Community Education Center has requested financial <br /> <br />assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during <br /> <br />the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1988 and ending June 30, 1989; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said requests and <br /> <br />desires to pay to the Community Education Center the sum of NINETEEN <br /> <br />THOUSAND FIVE-HUNDRED AND NO/IOO DOLLARS ($19,500.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br /> <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and Community Education <br /> <br />Center and it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve <br /> <br />the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />10870 <br />
