<br />ORiGINAL <br />AUG 2 2 1988 <br /> <br />(7-15-88) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10872 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH ESCUELA HIDALGO <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Escuela Hidalgo has been established for the principal <br /> <br />purpose of providing educational, cultural and social activities for <br /> <br />Hispanic families in Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Escuela Hidalgo requested financial assistance for use by <br /> <br />it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing <br /> <br />July 1, 1988 and ending June 30, 1989; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed sai.d requests and <br /> <br />desires to pay to Escuela Hidalgo the sum of ONE-THOUSAND FIVE-HUNDRED AND <br /> <br />NO/IOO DOLLARS ($1,500.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br /> <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and the Escuela Hidalgo and it <br /> <br />is the intention and desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />l08?:G <br />
