<br />DAS:mma 9/16/88 (#23/027) <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 1 0 91 0 <br /> <br />ORIGINP,L <br />SEP 1 9 1988 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) <br />SEWER CLEANER TRUCK; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />PURCHASE DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the purchase <br /> <br />of one (1) sewer cleaner truck; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, three (3) bids were <br /> <br />received; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Misson Valley Ford, San Jose, California is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible and responsive bidder and it is the intention <br /> <br />and desire of this Council to accept the bid of said company; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Mission Valley Ford, San Jose, California <br /> <br />for the sale of one (1) sewer cleaner truck at a total bid price <br />of Ninety Thousand One Hundred Fifty-nine and 70/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($90,159.70), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />August 29, 1988, is hereby accepted; and said bidder is hereby <br /> <br />found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said <br /> <br />truck. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the purchase of said truck in accordance with the abovementioned <br /> <br />bid proposal, a copy of which proposal is presently on file in <br /> <br />for the full particulars concerning the terms and conditions <br /> <br />the office of the City Clerk, to which reference is hereby made <br /> <br />thereof. <br /> <br />10910 <br />
