<br />MJP:mro~ 10/4/88 (#23/031) <br /> <br />OCT 1 01988 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />No.I0920 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR A CONSULTING DESIGN CONTRACT FOR THE <br />PREPARATION OF STANDARD DRAWINGS AND A DESIGN POLICY <br />FOR THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires expert consulting <br /> <br />services for the preparation of a complete and updated set of <br /> <br />standard drawings and a design policy; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />KCA <br /> <br />Engineers, <br /> <br />Inc. , <br /> <br />Consulting <br /> <br />Engineers, <br /> <br />represents that it is qualified to furnish such expert <br /> <br />consulting services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to and reviewed by this <br /> <br />Council an agreement for the furnishing of such services by <br /> <br />KCA Engineers, Inc., and this Council desires to approve and <br /> <br />authorize its execution for and on behalf of the City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Standard Drawings and <br /> <br />Design Policy for the City of Redwood City" (form dated 10/7/88) <br /> <br />by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation <br /> <br />of the State of California and KCA Engineers, Inc., providing for <br /> <br />the furnishing of expert consulting services with respect to the <br /> <br />development of standard drawings and a design policy, a copy of <br /> <br />which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to <br /> <br />which copy reference is hereby made for the full particulars <br /> <br />thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby <br /> <br />authorized and directed to execute said agreement for and on <br /> <br />behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />10920 <br />
