<br />DAS:rn?~ ll/l/88 (#23/038) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />1 () 92 9 <br /> <br />NOV 7 1988 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR RED MORTON COMMUNITY PARK <br />PARKING LOT IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF <br />SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. l09l3, adopted by the <br /> <br />City Council of the City of Redwood City on September 26, 1988, <br /> <br />the City Clerk called for bids for Red Morton Community Park <br /> <br />Parking Lot Improvements Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, six bids were received for <br /> <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Wattis Construction Company, Inc., San Jose, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to Wattis <br /> <br />Construction Company, Inc. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />l. The bid of Wattis Construction Company, Inc. in the sum <br /> <br />of Two Hundred Ninety Four Thousand Nineteen and 6l/l00 Dollars <br /> <br />($294,019.61), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal for <br /> <br />Red Morton Community Parking Lot Improvements Project, is hereby <br /> <br />found and declared to be the lowest bid for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement Red Morton Community <br /> <br />1 0929 <br />
