<br />MJP:mF- ll/2l/88 (#23/044) <br /> <br />NOV 2 8 1988 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />NQ.I0935 <br /> <br />ORIn,.:., , <br />U'; f'('} :':.. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF MICROFILM <br />EQUIPMENT AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE <br />DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager called for bids for the purchase <br /> <br />of microfilm equipment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, one (1) bid was received for <br /> <br />the purchase of said microfilm equipment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Bell and Howell Company, is the only responsible <br /> <br />bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />award said bid to Bell and Howell Company; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />l. The bid of Bell and Howell Company, in the sum of <br /> <br />Twenty Four Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy-four and no/100 <br /> <br />Dollars <br /> <br />($24,774.00), computed in accordance with bidder's <br /> <br />proposal dated November l, 1988, for the sale of microfilm <br /> <br />equipment is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and <br /> <br />declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said microfilm <br /> <br />equipment. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the purchase of said microfilm equipment in accordance with the <br /> <br />abovementioned bid proposal, a copy of which proposal is <br /> <br />presently on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> <br />1.09~5 <br />
