<br />MJP:~0 ll/21/88 (#23/045) <br /> <br />NOV 2 81988 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />NO. 10936 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF EIGHT (8) <br />VEHICLES; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE <br />DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager called for bids for the purchase <br /> <br />of eight (8) vehicles for various City departments; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, three (3) bids were received <br /> <br />for the purchase of these vehicles; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mission Valley Ford, San Jose, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsive bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said bid to Mission Valley Ford; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Mission Valley Ford, in the sum of One <br /> <br />Hundred and Seven Thousand Four Hundred and Three and l2/ 1 0 0 <br /> <br />Dollars ($107,403.12), computed in accordance with bidder's <br /> <br />proposal dated October 24, 1988, for the sale of eight (8) <br /> <br />vehicles for various City departments is hereby accepted and said <br /> <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible <br /> <br />bidder for said vehicles. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />purchase <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />vehicles <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />accordance <br /> <br />with <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />abovementioned bid proposal, a copy of which proposal is <br /> <br />1093 6 <br />
