NAL <br />RESPONSIBLE BIDDER AND <br />SELF CONTAINED BREATHING <br /> <br />public notice inviting bids was advertised for the purchase of <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2.65 of the Redwood City Code <br /> <br />self contained breathing apparatus to be used for municipal <br /> <br />purposes; and <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said notice four bids were received; <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and this Council desires to <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Halprin Supply Company of Los Angeles, California, <br /> <br />accept said bid; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />California, in the total amount of Ninety-eight Thousand Seven <br /> <br />l. The bid of Halprin Supply Company of Los Angeles, <br /> <br />the City of self contained breathing apparatus submitted in <br /> <br />Hundred Nineteen and 46/100 Dollars ($98,719.46) for the sale to <br /> <br />hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby declared to be the <br /> <br />accordance with said bidder's proposal dated November 14, 1988 is <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder for the purchase of said equipment. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute a purchase order or other purchase documents (in form <br /> <br />the abovementioned bid proposal; a copy of which proposal is <br /> <br />equipment, all in accordance with the specifications therefor and <br /> <br />approved by the City Attorney) for the acquisition of said <br /> <br />10946 <br />
