<br />DES:djk ('\1/04/89 <br /> <br />(019/24) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to apply to the State <br />Department of Education for a grant to be used for planning and <br />coordinating activities within the City relating to child <br />development services; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. This Council hereby determines and declares its support <br />of a policy to coordinate child development activities within the <br />City of Redwood City in order to facilitate the availability of <br />child development services within our community. <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute an application to the State Department of Education for a <br />grant for funds to be used in furtherance of the aforesaid policy <br />and in accordance with the purposes, terms, and conditions of <br />said grant program. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />10963 <br />
