<br />MJP'~jk 02/23/89 (#21) <br /> <br />O~,:" I <br />f\l\.2:, d,l.. <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />lJL9 9 0 <br /> <br />FEB ~1 <br /> <br />'1'-'", .. <br />f....I_.J <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN DESCRIBED CITY-OWNED <br />PROPERTY SURPLUS; AND AUTHORIZING BIDS THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City is the owner of certain <br /> <br />property hereinafter listed on "Exhibit A" which is attached <br /> <br />hereto; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has received evidence that such <br /> <br />property is not needed for present or prospective municipal or <br /> <br />public purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Assessor has appraised said property and <br /> <br />determined that the current reasonable market value of the total <br /> <br />of each of the items to be sold as a unit to be declared surplus <br /> <br />is more than Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />declare said property surplus and authorize its sale in <br /> <br />accordance with Section 3~ of the Charter of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. This Council hereby finds, determines and declares that <br /> <br />those items on "Exhibit A" are surplus; that they are no longer <br /> <br />necessary or required for municipal or public purposes; and that <br /> <br />the appraised value of the total of each of the items to be sold <br /> <br />as a unit is more than Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00). <br /> <br />2. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed <br /> <br />to advertise such surplus property for sale to the general public <br /> <br />10990 <br />
