<br />DAS:dj~ 04/13/89 (047/24) <br /> <br />ORIGI Ni'L <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />11022 <br /> <br />APR 1.7 1989 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE NON ACCESS <br />RESTRICTION OVER A PORTION OF A PUBLIC STREET (MARINE <br />PARKWAY) IN ACCORDANCE tVITH PART 3 OF DIVISION 9, <br />STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA; <br />SETTING TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING ALL PERSONS <br />INTERESTED IN OR OBJECTING TO THE PROPOSED VACATION; <br />AND ORDERING POSTING OF NOTICE OF SUCH PROPOSED <br />VACATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a non access restriction over a portion of a public <br /> <br />street (Marine Parkway) in the City of Redwood City, heretofore <br /> <br />relinquished and dedicated to the City over such public street, <br /> <br />is no longer needed to restrict access across such street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City intends to <br /> <br />vacate said non access restriction over a portion of Marine <br /> <br />Parkway pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 <br /> <br />(commencing with Section 8300) of the Streets and Highways Code; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The City Council hereby declares its intention to vacate <br /> <br />a non access restriction over a portion of Marine Parkway as such <br /> <br />restriction is hereinafter described, and elects to proceed with <br /> <br />such vacation pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 <br /> <br />(commencing with Section 8300) of the Streets and Highways Code. <br /> <br />2. The non access restriction over a portion of Marine <br /> <br />Parkway to be vacated was established by and designated on that <br /> <br />certain map entitled "Shoreline Neighborhood Area 'F'" as <br /> <br />recorded in Book 118 of Maps, Pages 58-60, Records of San Mateo <br /> <br />11 022 <br />
