<br />DES:djY 04/12/89 (045/24) <br /> <br />APR 2 4 1989 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />NO. 11029 <br /> <br />ORIGI NAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF JOINT <br />EXERCISE OF POWERS AGREEMENT ESTABLISHING BAY AREA <br />WATER AGENCY <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That certain agreement entitled "Statement of Agreement <br /> <br />For Joint Exercise of Powers of Bay Area Water Agency", a copy of <br /> <br />which is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A", and incorporated <br /> <br />herein by this reference, is hereby approved, and the Mayor and <br /> <br />the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute, and <br /> <br />to attest thereto, respectively, said agreement substantially in <br /> <br />the form of Exhibit A for and on behalf of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City. <br /> <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />circulate said executed original agreement, or appropriate <br /> <br />counterparts thereof, among the proposed member agencies of said <br /> <br />Bay Area Water Agency, for execution by said agencies, and to <br /> <br />obtain and maintain a fully executed original counterpart in the <br /> <br />official files of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />11 029 <br />
