<br />MJP:mmg 04/27/89 (#23/114) <br />UI<iGiNAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />11032 <br /> <br />MAY <br /> <br />1 1989 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF T-SHIRTS <br />FOR SUMMER YOUTH PROGRAMS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager called for bids for the purchase <br /> <br />of t-shirts for summer youth programs operated by the Parks, <br /> <br />Recreation, and Community Services Department; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, three (3) bids were received <br /> <br />for these t-shirts; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Campus Park Sportswear and Sports Products, <br /> <br />Freemont, California, is the lowest responsive bidder and it is <br /> <br />the intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to <br /> <br />Campus Park Sportswear and Sports Products; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The <br /> <br />bid <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Campus <br /> <br />Park <br /> <br />Sportswear <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Sports <br /> <br />Products, in the sum of Twelve Thousand Seven Hundred and <br /> <br />Ninety-two <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />30/100 <br /> <br />Dollars <br /> <br />($12,792.30) , <br /> <br />computed <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />accordance with bidder's proposal submitted on or about April 7, <br /> <br />1989, for the sale of t-shirts for summer youth programs is <br /> <br />hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby found and declared to <br /> <br />be the lowest responsible bidder for said t-shirts. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />purchase <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />t-shirts <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />accordance <br /> <br />with <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />abovementioned bid proposal, a copy of which proposal is <br /> <br />presently on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br />
