<br />CES:mmg r~/19/89 (#25/034) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />11093 <br /> <br />ORiGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF JUL 2 4 ~ <br />AGREEMENT WITH GREAT WESTERN SAVINGS BANK FOR ~ <br />ADMINISTRATION OF A DEFERRED COMPENSATION PLAN FOR THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10231, adopted by this <br /> <br />Council on June 16, 1986, this Council established a Deferred <br /> <br />Compensation Plan for the employees of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />with Great Western <br /> <br />Savings <br /> <br />a Federal <br /> <br />Savings <br /> <br />and Loan <br /> <br />Association; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said Agreement expired on May 31, 1989; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, This Council desires to enter into a new three year <br /> <br />agreement with Great Western Bank, a Federal Savings Bank <br /> <br />(successor to Great Western Savings and Loan Association) for <br /> <br />management of the Deferred Compensation Plan for the employees of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That certain agreement entitled "Deferred Compensation <br /> <br />Plan Agreement" by and between the City of Redwood City and Great <br /> <br />Western Bank, a Federal Savings Bank, a copy of which is attached <br /> <br />hereto, marked Exhibit "A", and by this reference incorporated <br /> <br />herein, is hereby approved; the terms thereof are hereby <br /> <br />established as a Deferred Compensation Plan for the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City; and the City Manager and City Clerk are hereby <br />
