RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. ~ ORIGfNAL RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE OF LETTER PERMIT TO THE DOWNTOWN ASSOCIATION, AND REGULATING USE Of PUBLIC RIGHTS-Of-WAY IN CONNECTION THEREW ITH (DOWNTOWN fESTIVAL) BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL Of THE CITY Of REDWOOD CITY, AS fOLLOWS: That the City Manager is authorized to issue a letter permit to the Downtown Association for a Downtown festival along portions of Broadway on September 16 and 17, 1989, in the form of Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein

<br />Exhibit "A" <br /> <br />R <br /> <br />E <br /> <br />p <br /> <br />o R <br /> <br />T <br /> <br />TO THE HONORABLE <br />MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />FROM THE CITY MANAGER <br /> <br />September 6, 1989 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: LETTER PERMIT - WINE AND ART FESTIVAL <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />It is recommended that the City Council authorize execution of a letter permit for the Redwood <br />City Downtown Association Wine and Art Festival. <br /> <br />SUMMARY: <br /> <br />The Redwood City Downtown Association has requested permission to conduct a Wine and <br />Art Festival on Saturday, September 16, 1989. The Festival will be conducted on Broadway, <br />between Arguello and Main Street. <br /> <br />The letter permit contains the standard hold harmless, insurance, course control and <br />acceptance provisions. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />~ For( <br />James mith <br />City Manager <br />
