<br />DEs:a]K Ud/Uq/b~ <br /> <br />\lJU~/.j~} <br /> <br />Exhibit IIIII <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br />AMENDING WATER SUPPLY CONTRACT <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, dated as of <br /> <br />1989, by and <br /> <br />between the CITY AND COUNTY OF SAN FRANCISCO ("San Francisco") <br /> <br />and the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal corporation of the <br /> <br />State of California ("Redwood City"); <br /> <br />WIT N E SSE T H <br /> <br />WHEREAS, San Francisco and Redwood City entered into that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Water Supply Contract" dated August <br /> <br />8, 1984 (the "Supply Contract") pursuant to which San Francisco <br />sells domestic water to Redwood City for resale wi thin Redwood <br /> <br />City's service area; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Redwood City desires to revise the service area <br /> <br />described in the Supply Contract by excluding therefrom all that <br /> <br />certain territory shown on Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto <br /> <br />and by this reference incorporated herein; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the aforementioned territory shall be included <br /> <br />within the water service area of the City of Menlo Park, a <br /> <br />municipal corporation of the State of California, to which <br /> <br />inclusion Redwood City hereby consents; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />SERVICE AREA AMENDED. <br /> <br />Exhibi t A of the Water Supply <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />Contract is hereby amended by excluding from the service area <br /> <br />shown thereon all that certain territory delineated "Proposed <br /> <br />Service Area Boundary" on Exhibit A-I hereof, attached hereto, <br /> <br />and by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br />11137 <br />
