A typical way to obtain the knowledge and <br />abil iti es woul d be: <br /> <br />Experience <br /> <br />Rece nt res ponsi bl e computer pro grammi ng e xperi ence, <br />preferably business oriented appl ication programing <br />experi ence. <br /> <br />Educat ion <br /> <br />Also accceptable is successful completion of recognized <br />fonnal training in computer programming. Education <br />e qui val ent to an Associ ate of Arts degree. A major in <br />Data Pro cessi ng is preferred. Addi ti onal qual ifyi ng <br />experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis <br />for the requi red educati on. <br /> <br />License or Certificate <br /> <br />Possession of a Cal ifornia Driver's 1 icense and a <br />satisfactory driving record is required. The use of a <br />privately owned vehicle may be required by the City for <br />traveling on City business or in the perfonnance of <br />assi gned duti es. <br />
