D-170 <br /> <br />OCT 1 6 1989 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND THE <br />REDWOOD CITY - SAN MATEO COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, <br />RELATING TO THE GENERAL DEVELOPMENT AND PROMOTION OF <br />LOCAL INDUSTRY AND COMMERCE IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY FOR FISCAL YEAR 1989-90 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City ("City") has been <br /> <br />requested by the Redwood City <br /> <br />San Mateo County Chamber of <br /> <br />Commerce ("Chamber") to provide monies during the fiscal year <br /> <br />July 1, 1989 - June 30, 1990, for the maintenance and improvement <br /> <br />of the economy of the City of Redwood City by the general <br /> <br />development and promotion of local industry and commerce in the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of the Council to <br /> <br />authorize the execution of as agreement by and between the City <br /> <br />of REdwood Cirty and the Redwood City - San Mateo County Chamber <br /> <br />of Commerce providing for a payment of Thirty Thousand and No/100 <br /> <br />Dollars ($30,000.00) to the Redwood City <br /> <br />San Mateo County <br /> <br />Chamber of Commerce by the City of Redwood City for such above <br /> <br />stated purposes for the fiscal year July 1, 1989 - June 30, <br /> <br />1990; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to and reviewed by this <br /> <br />Council for approval a funding agreement between the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City and the Redwood City - San Mateo County Chamber for <br /> <br />the fiscal year July 1, 1989 - June 30, 1990, Commerce, and it is <br /> <br />the intention of this Council to approve same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> <br />REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />
