<br />CES:djm 1/06/89 (099/#25) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />No.IllS1 <br /> <br />ORIGII~f1L <br />NOV 1 3 1989 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />WITH CENTER FOR THE INDEPENDENCE OF THE DISABLED FOR <br />FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO THEIR HOUSING ACCESSIBILITY <br />MODIFICATION PROGRAM <br /> <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Center for the Independence of the Disabled, a <br /> <br />California nonprofit corporation, hereinafter referred to as <br /> <br />"Company", is presently engaged in the operation of a Housing <br /> <br />Accessibility Modification (HAM) Program, and desires to conduct <br /> <br />a housing accessibility modification program for the residents of <br /> <br />the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal corporation of the State <br /> <br />of California, hereinafter known as "City"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Company has requested financial assistance in order <br /> <br />to conduct such a program for the residents of City during the <br /> <br />fiscal year commencing July l, 1989, and ending June 30, 1990; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to <br /> <br />allocate to the Company the sum of Fifteen Thousand and No/lOO <br /> <br />Dollars ($l5,000.OQ) from its Community Development Block Grant <br /> <br />funds; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for <br /> <br />approval an agreement between the City of Redwood City and the <br /> <br />Center for the Independence of the Disabled, wherein the City <br /> <br />shall provide Fifteen Thousand and No/lOO Dollars ($l5,000.00) <br /> <br />from its Community Development Block Grant funds; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> <br />REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />
