<br />CES:dj~ ll/03/89 (097/#25) <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />~ 2.j 11 8 6 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />NOV 1 3 1989 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID <br />(l989-l990); AUTHORIZING <br />SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING <br />DEPOSIT <br /> <br />FOR RODENT CONTROL PROGRAM <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR <br />THE RETURN OF THE SECURITY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution NO. 11l48, adopted September <br /> <br />l8, 1989, the City Clerk called for bids for the Rodent Control <br /> <br />Program (1989-1990 Fiscal Year) in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, one bid was received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Dewey Pest Control of San Francisco, California is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to award said bid to said Dewey Pest Control; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Dewey Pest Control, in the sum of <br /> <br />Thirty-Three Thousand Sixty-Four and 50/100 Dollars ($33,064.50), <br /> <br />more or less, computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />October 10, 1989, for the Rodent Control Program for fiscal year <br /> <br />1989-l990 in the City of Redwood City is hereby accepted and said <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible <br />bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated 11/1/89) by <br />and between the City of Redwood City and Dewey Pest Control of <br /> <br />1 <br />
